The Beewell Therapist
Fabiana Araujo, M.Ed., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, and life transitions. She also supports children struggling with behavioral and social skills, anger management, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. Fabiana is also a Child-Centered Play Therapist and Educational Diagnostician.
In private practice, Fabiana works with clients from diverse backgrounds and age groups, including young adults, adolescents, couples, divorcees, the LGBTQ+ community, and seniors. Through therapy, clients can experience significant improvements in their well-being, including increased confidence and self-esteem, improved mood, enhanced coping skills, better relationships and communication, more effective decision-making, stress management, and the development of positive thinking patterns.
With over a decade of experience in education and 5 years as a School Counselor for a Title I school—where I continue to serve—I have witnessed firsthand the growing need for mental health and behavioral support for children. In response to this increasing demand, I made the decision to establish my own private practice to provide specialized care. Before opening my private practice, I worked at another private practice setting where I provided therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. To better serve our diverse community, I offer therapy services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
